  • Introduction of OPC drum

    OPC is short for Organic Photoconductor. OPC drum is a kind of photoelectric conversion device by using OPC material coated on the surface of conductive aluminum cylinder. It is characterized by being an insulator in the dark place, which can maintain a certain static charge. When irradiated by light of a certain wavelength, it becomes a conductor and releases charge through the aluminum base to form electrostatic potential image.

  • OPC drum cleaning method

    When cleaning OPC drum, first blow clean the toner and dirt on its surface with oil-free compressed air, and then use hairless soft cloth or special cleaning pad (RT001) to gently wipe along the direction of the drum shaft. For foreign bodies that are not easy to get rid of, you can use the OPC drum cleaner (CD001) to clean, and do not use chemical reagents to wipe the surface of the OPC drum.

    The cleaning process should be light, do not let your fingers directly contact the surface of the OPC drum, avoid nail scratch OPC drum.

    OPC drum should not be cleaned when used for a long time.

    1. Do not touch the surface of the OPC drum with your hands.

    2. Do not use chemical reagents (such as alcohol) to wipe the surface of the OPC drum.

    3. Do not hit the OPC drum surface with a hard object.

    4. Be careful not to bring staples and other office supplies into the printer with the printing medium.

    5. Remove the toner cartridge or OPC drum from the machine and place away from light, preferably covered with a newspaper or other object.
